Golf Fitness Training

Golf Fitness Programs are only recommended to golfers who’ve already done a good job of ingraining the correct technique and are swinging through the correct positions. Otherwise, the golfer will merely swing through the incorrect positions faster, the golfer will make even more inconsistent club-head/ball contact, and the ball will go in the wrong direction even farther.

However, when the golfer swings through the correct positions and makes correct golf-swings, the golfer will start experiencing more consistent club-head/ball contact, and the golfer will start hitting consistent, well-struck golf-shots.

Although that improvement may well be enough improvement for most golfers, if the golfer (who is now swinging correctly), wants to develop the muscles that will allow him/her to swing through impact faster and create ‘more’ clubhead speed, there are specific golf-centric exercises to do.

As an example, ‘chest/bench-presses’ will do more harm than good. Developing the ‘triceps’ of the leading arm is more important than ‘bicep curls’ and/or developing the triceps of the trail arm, etc. At this time, there is only 1 personal trainer I can recommend.
